Treasures Today

We had a great time treasure hunting this morning.  Although we weren't in the market for these beau chapeaux, we couldn't resist the look.  Stunning.  We felt we could have made quite a statement at the Moscow Olympics last year.

We bought this gem for nostalgia sake.  We learned to tell time on a Fisher Price clock just like this.  The music box is working well and the hands move freely. There is very little wear.   It was a steal for $2.

We are both non-coffee drinkers.  For us, a hot cup of cocoa has always been the Nectar of the Gods.  We have collected cocoa tins for years, much harder to come by than coffee tins.  The one on the right was today's find.  $8 was a very fair price.  It fits right in.

Hello!   This calendar from 1964 is a gift to my husband.  Living in the north gives us a special appreciation for RCMP and winter artwork.  Now to find a spot at the cabin for it.  For $6, who could snowshoe away from this?
