Keeping Things Together - Having a Place for Everything
In my work room I try to keep organized. When Cindy and I spotted this shaving mug, we had to buy it. The woman at the sale said it wasn't for sale because she was keeping the loose change in it, but we offered the right price. She gladly handed it over. It reminds us of our Dad. We can see him getting ready for work, leaning over the sink in his white t-shirt, shaving. We can smell the Old Spice.
Green depression glass holds all the vintage silverware that we're going to make something with someday.....sure.
Old tins hold misc. ribbon, thread, and embroidery floss. The one with the holiday ribbon has an image of the Queen Mary sailing on the Atlantic. The tin in the foreground is Piccadilly Circus, London. They sit upon our Grandma's sewing box.
